The city is home and the sky is a friend. The greatest thing about the sky is that it’s always there – at least one constant on the ever-changing path of life. Now that it’s winter here in Finland we have a grand total of about 3 or 4 hours of sunlight (provided the day is miraculously not overcast). Fun stuff. However, this means that the chances of catching a beautiful sunrise or sunset are higher. Most days now I’ve ended up somewhere entirely different than where I was originally going because I saw a beautiful sunset and had to run off to chase it. The sun has the ability to paint the skies and create a masterpiece of an artwork, time and time again, but infuriatingly, this is near impossible to capture in full splendour with a camera. That’s what we have the minds eye for. I attempted anyhow, so take what you see and multiply the wonder by ten.
